Show and Tell

HARTINGTON – All Cedar County residents are invited and encouraged to enter open class exhibits for the Cedar County Fair, July 18. Exhibit categories includes Horticulture, Fruits and Vegetables, Flowers, Domestic Science, Quilts, Photography, Needlework and Arts and Crafts for all ages.

WAYNE – Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership will hold the Wayne WIC and Immunization clinic Tuesday July 2, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the United Methodist Church, 516 N Main Street Wayne. BELDEN – Shannon Arduser doesn’t want people to hope they’re going to heaven - he wants them to know.

HARTINGTON – 4-H members across Cedar County are gearing up for the 2024 Cedar County Fair. A total of 40 4-H members participated in 4-H Project Day held June 6 in Hartington. Youth in attendance each made four projects to exhibit at the upcoming Cedar County Fair.

LAUREL – The City of Laurel will continue to receive support for its water and wastewater operations from the City of Wayne.

LAUREL – Laurel-Concord-Coleridge is making plans to accommodate for a larger than usual preschool enrollment for 2024-25.

Jackson Hall, Coleridge, recently received his Eagle Scout badge. For his project, Hall repainted the Coleridge weight room, cleaned it from top to bottom, reorganized it and then painted the mural. Mallory Eriksen: She plans to attend Northeast Community College and pursue studies in Pre-Radiologic Technology.
