Dixon County Weed Board hands out awards

ALLEN — The Dixon County Weed Board met Dec. 3 in Allen.

Chairman Jim Lunz awarded two plaques during the meeting from the Dixon County Weed Board.

Marlin Bose of Dixon was honoorred for his 24 years on the Board. Doug Ellis was honored posthumously for his 28 years as employee and weed board member. Margaret Kennelly accepted the award on behalf of her son.

Both individuals are greatly appreciated for their service to Dixon County, Lunz said.
