LAUREL – The May 14 primary election saw a majority of registered Laurel voters reject a local sales tax referendum that would have helpedacity-ownedcarecenter if it had been approved.

OMAHA – The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears and Lady Bears track teams sent three individuals to Omaha’s Burke Stadium for the 2024 Nebraska Track and Field Championships, with Class C competing on May 17 and 18.
