Meeting will feature ideas for Coleridge improvements

COLERIDGE — The Coleridge Area Fund (CAF), in partnership with the Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF), is hosting a Visioning Session Sunday Jan. 12 to discuss recent progress and identify the highest priority needs of the Coleridge area.

The meeting will take place at 2 p.m. at the Coleridge Community Building. Refreshments will be served at 1:45 p.m. prior to the meeting.

Area residents are urged to plan to attend the Visioning Session designed for open conversation and idea generation. Organizers say attendance and input areimportanttokeepourcommunitymovingforward.

Following the last visioning session in 2018, action was taken to address the key priorities that were identified.

Tangible projects stemming from the most recent visioning sessions include updates to the Coleridge Community Building main use area, grants provided to community organizations and schools to support community activities, completion of an inclusive playground at the park, and development of a Coleridge Area Newsletter in partnership with the Laurel-Concord- Coleridge Middle School.

During the 2025 session, thre will be an examination of the progress the Coleridge Area has achieved since the last session and continued conversation around what’s needed to continue the Coleridge Area moving forward and progressing.

The Visioning Session on January 12th will be led by Maggie Smith and Becky Boesen of the Nebraska Community Foundation. Everyone’s input is important in the planning process, and we look forward to hearing from you!

The agenda for this session includes updates to current projects, discussion on any new or existing needs that need further investigation, and identification of ways to move Coleridge forward to help preserve our quality of life while encouraging growth through business and people recruitment.
