Area students earn spots on SDSU Dean’s List

BROOKINGS, S.D. — Three Laurel-Concord-Coleridge High School graduates were among the more than 3,900 students to be recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the fall 2024 semester at South Dakota State University by being named to the Dean’s List.

To earn Dean’s List distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Overall, 3,901 students from 40 states and 32 foreign nations are on the list. More than 1,600 students received a 4.0 GPA, and those are indicated with an asterisk.

Local students earning the honors are: Sarah Karnes, Hartington, in SDSU’s College of Nursing. Madalynn Graham, in SDSU’s College of Natural Sciences. Bradyn Urwiler, Laurel, in SDSU’s College of Agriculture, Food and Environmental Sciences.
