WAYNE – The Board of Trustees of the Wayne State Foundation (WSF), which provides financial support for the mission of Wayne State College, announces the selection of Melissa Nelsen to serve as Interim CEO beginning July 1st, 2024. Melissa currently serves as the Director of Major Gifts for the Foundation and she will succeed current CEO Kevin Armstrong, who is leaving June 30th for a new position in Omaha. The interim CEO appointment is in eect while a national search is conducted to fill the position.

WAYNE – Wayne State College alumni are invited to submit original artwork for the Juried Alumni Art Exhibit being held in conjunction with Homecoming. The exhibit will run Oct. 4 through Nov. 13 in the Nordstrand Visual Arts Gallery, located in U.S. Conn Library on campus.
