Hartington community blood drive is huge success

HARTINGTON — Thanks to the generosity of several people, we registered 28 donors and collected 27 units of blood, which will directly benefit up to 81 patients.

Trinity Lutheran Church hosted and helped to coordinatethe event. Two people reached significant donation milestones. They include, Kimberly Emanuel, one gallon, and Tonya Joachimsen, three gallons.Their unwavering commitment continues to transform lives every day.

The next chance for you to make a difference is 12:30-6 p.m., Feb. 13, at the Hartington VFW.
