WAYNE – Wayne State College included 1,154 students on the dean’s list for exemplary academic achievement during the Spring 2024 semester. Students listed on the dean’s list are full-time undergraduate students who have achieved a GPA of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale for the semester. An asterisk (*) denotes a 4.0 GPA for the term.

Hole In One

Last week Brooks Heine, 11, became one of the youngest golfers to ever record a hole-in-one at the Hartington golf course. He recorded the ace on the third hole on June 18 using a three wood. Miller Heine, and Trey Leise witnessed the shot. This marks the second hole-in-one of the season at the local golf course. Riley Sudbeck earned an ace earlier this year. Sudbeck also earned his ace on the third hole when he nailed the shot on May 12. Brooks is the son of Scott and Jennifer Heine.
