HARTINGTON – The case against a Louisiana man accused of murder at a Hartington tower worksite will proceed to trial in two weeks with a new judge.

Father Owen Korte led local residents through the streets of Hartington for Holy Trinity Catholic Church’s annual Good Friday Stations of the Cross observation. Over 100 area residents gathered for the event, which started at the church then headed down Broadway before turning at Centre Street and back toward the church. Several different volunteers carried the cross during the ceremony.

WAYNE – Wayne State College announced that two Hartington Cedar Catholic High School students, Ella Bowers and Annika Kuehn, have been chosen for the highly selective Rural Health Opportunities Program (RHOP) for the Fall 2024 semester.

HARTINGTON – Co-head golf coaches Mike Johnson and Ken Kneifl of Hartington-Newcastle are looking for this year’s edition of the Wildcats to improve on last year’s state-qualifying team, which lost three players to graduation.

HARTINGTON – Cedar Security Bank has brought some money home to the Hartington Baseball Association.
