Once upon a stage

Once upon a stage
Jeri Schmit|Randolph Times

Senior Katarina Greiner as Little Red Riding Hood interacts with Sophomore Ryan Engel playing Bambi in this year’s One Act play, “Chaos in Fairytale Forest.” Randolph actors were assisted by the stage crew in the public performance on the home stage Friday night. Greiner, in her second year acting, said One Act helps her work on her public speaking and she likes to improvise while on stage.

Sophomore Alaina Schulz plays the witch while (left) Junior Luke Harder acts as Robin Hood. Sophomore Alexis Wortman (above left) gives a solid performance as Snow White while Senior Gavin Wortman trips over a “root” in the fairytale forest while playing Sheriff Ogre. Randolph’s thespians will next compete at districts Wednesday, Dec. 4, in Leigh. There are 13 actors and nine students part of this year’s One Act.
