75 Years Ago - May 5, 1949 RANDOLPH – A bridge on a county road three miles south of Randolph was destroyed by fire Wednesday morning. The ten-foot bridge was engulfed in flames and beyond saving by the time the Randolph Volunteer Fire Department arrived. Of crested planks, the bridge burned rapidly, with the flames fanned by the strong wind.
