75 Years Ago - May 26, 1949 RANDOLPH – Randolph will again have a town band this summer and the band will give weekly concerts, it was announced this week.

LAVISTA – Mark Linville, president and CEO of First State Bank in Randolph, was selected as the chair-elect of the Nebraska Bankers Association during the association’s annual convention in La Vista. He will assume the position of NBA Chair in May 2025.

State Track and Field

Celebrating

STANTON – Randolph golfers didn’t find themselves in the winners’ circle but there was a lot to be proud of from the team’s last outing in Stanton, said Coach Rob Engel.

RANDOLPH – Randolph hosted four other schools for its home track meet last week.

RANDOLPH – Julie Loberg has been answering to the name “Nurse Julie” 100 times a day for the last 32 years as well as answering all health-related concerns and questions at Randolph Public Schools.

75 Years Ago - May 12, 1949 RANDOLPH – The Community club began definite operations this week to start a garbage pick-up service in the city limits of Randolph. There has long been a need for this sort of service in Randolph, and the city council approves of the project and hopes that all the residents will avail themselves of this opportunity for garbage disposal.

RANDOLPH – Randolph will continue to be without local police service until its new police chief is certified.
