RANDOLPH – The Randolph Community Golf Course is teeing up a night of musical entertainment and dinner for a cause.
Advance tickets are now on sale for a Valentine’s dinner with Dueling Pianos set for Saturday, Feb. 8. Proceeds will go toward replacing the golf course’s maintenance shed. The RCGC Board approved a bid to replace the shed for $16,000.
“The building was donated when the course was built and it’s in great need of replacement,” said Michaela Casey, the golf course clubhouse manager.
Casey and the golf course board brainstormed ideas to raise funds and decided to aim beyond its regular Valentine’s Day dinner and add in entertainment, essentially putting more fun in the upcoming fundraiser.
A Dueling Pianos event hasn’t taken place locally since 2020 and was well received at that time, Casey said. A different production company, Rock It Man Entertainment, has been tapped for the 2025 reboot.
The adults only (21 and older) event includes a buffet meal catered by Jerry’s Hilltop and the two-hour live show that will include two performers and audience interaction, she said.
Tickets include the night’s dinner and entertainment, a drink ticket and door prize entry.
The event will take place at the Randolph City Auditorium with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. and dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. The show will begin at 8 p.m.
“It’s a fun night out and something to do,” Casey said.
Tickets can be purchased at the clubhouse or by contacting Casey or Zach Meyer.
