WYNOT – Wynot’s Lady Blue Devils will be making their 16th trip, dating back to 2004, to the Nebraska Girls Basketball Championships, opening the tournament as the No. 3 seed in Class D2 and taking on the No. 6 seed, Plainview at 7:45 p.m., Feb. 28, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

WYNOT – The Wausa Lady Vikings had to travel to Wynot to take on the Lady Blue Devils in sub-district action on Tuesday night. The Lady Blue Devils would use a big 21-3 first quarter to open up a wide lead and pulled away in the second half with a 29-13 run as Wynot advanced with the 61-28 win.

WYNOT – The Wynot Lady Blue Devils are champions of subdistrict D-2 6 as they rolled over the Humphrey St. Francis Lady Flyers on Thursday night.

HARTINGTON – Three brothers have played a big part in the evolution of the Cedar Catholic wrestling program’s continued rise to the upper echelon of the sport.

CROFTON – The Cedar Catholic Lady Trojans turned away Ponca in the opening round of the C2-8 Sub-District Tournament here Feb. 13, 55-36 then took on unbeaten Crofton in the finals and fell by a 54-34 tally to end the 2023-24 campaign with an 11-14 record.

LAUREL – In the final regular season game for both teams, the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears hosted the Wynot Blue Devils Friday.

RANDOLPH – After beating a very good Laurel-Concord-Coleridge team in its last outing, Hartington-Newcastle lost its final regular season contest, 49-44 to Osmond-Randolph on the road Feb. 16 before heading into SubDistrict action this week.

HARTINGTON – There will be eight Hartington Swimmers in the South Dakota State A swim meet Championships, Emily Climer, Kyson Lammers, Allison Hueser, Hadley Dendinger, Randall Hueser, Grant Hueser and Piper Dendinger.
