RANDOLPH –Randolph Public Schools has released the listings for its second quarter honor roll and first semester honor roll.

RANDOLPH –With the remnants of the winter storm that paralyzed Northeast Nebraska, the Randolph Cardinals wrestling teams took to a busy week to catch up on what it had missed as the cold took its toll earlier this month.

RANDOLPH – On Jan. 22, Osmond-Randolph traveled to Winside for a regular season contest against the Winside Lady Wildcats.

RANDOLPH – The Osmond-Randolph Hawks had three games in the last week, traveling to Winside for a make-up game, then hosting the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears before traveling to Plainview to take on the Pirates.

WAKEFIELD – The Little Red Hen is planning an escape from the winter blues with a murder mystery dinner, “Murder in Margaritaville” on Friday, Feb. 16, at 6:30 PM, at the Wakefield Civic Center.

HARTINGTON – Defense lawyers for a Laurel couple accused of murdering four people intend to file a motion for a change of venue for the upcoming trials.

HARTINGTON – Judge Bryan Meismer granted the request by David Phillips Jr., 21, Kenner, La., to appear unshackled and in civilian clothing in front of a jury during trial on charges of second-degree murder.

RANDOLPH –Like everyone else in Northeast Nebraska, the Randolph wrestling team battled the elements but were at least able to find its way onto the mat this last weekend.

RANDOLPH – The Highway 20 Hawks will be flying the coop - or the co-op nest at least - at the end of this season.

RANDOLPH – Randolph’s first baby of 2024 is also a first child for his parents.
