HARTINGTON – The Hartington Library has several “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” award winners. The Hartington 3-4 grade and 5-6 grade football teams played in their first games of the season Sunday afternoon at the Hartington Community Complex. The fire siren blew at 7:05 p.m. Monday summoning local emergency crews to the scene of a mock accident just south of Hartington behind Grossenberg Implement. When the emergency crews arrived, they discovered a bus had collided with a grain truck and the bus had gone off the road and rolled on its side. Firemen had to determine how to best handle the situation, while ambulance personnel dealt with the mock victims. 09/13/2023 12:00 AM
