HARTINGTON - Hartington-Newcastle completed a busy and successful week on the track this past week.

O’NEILL - Mav Heine found himself in the top 10 individually at the O’Neill Invitational after firing a team-best 87 over 18 holes to place ninth.

PIERCE - The Cedar Catholic Trojan and Lady Trojan track teams competed in the Tom Martin Memorial/Wausa Invitational here on April 18.

HARTINGTON – After several months of planning, a new activities conference is set to take the stage.

NORFOLK – Memorial Services for Jerry M. and Karen K. Sievers, both 65, Norfolk, will be 1: 30 p.m., April 19, at First United Methodist Church, Randolph.

OMAHA – Several area basketball players recently received All-State recognition by publications across the state.

LAUREL – The Cedar Catholic golf team traveled to Laurel and took fourth-place in the team standings here at Cedarview Country Club, April 11 after shooting a 378 over 18-holes in the tournament.

HARTINGTON – The Hartington- Newcastle boys’ and girls’ track teams competed at the Trojan Invitational April 9 at the Hartington Community Complex, with the Wildcats claiming the runner-up hardware and the Lady Wildcats coming in fourth place.

RANDOLPH – Randolph’s golf season is in full swing with the team competing three times over the past week - twice at Laurel and then at Plainview.

LAUREL - Hartington-Newcastle traveled to Laurel to play in the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Invitational golf meet here April 11 at Cedar View Country Club and shot a team total of 409 which put the Wildcats 12th in the field of 15 teams.

HARTINGTON – In what could be considered a home away from home, Wynot traveled to Hartington for the Trojan Invitational on April 9 at the Hartington Community Athletic Complex.
