Hartington will open tourney play at 7 p.m. on Friday

NELIGH – The Hartington Pony baseball team won the Quad County League championship Monday with a rout of runner-up O’Neill.

CROFTON – After a disappointing 7-4 opening round loss to Crofton on July 8, Hartington fought its way back through the consolation bracket of the Area 1 Ameri can Legion Juniors baseball tournament.

RANDOLPH - The Hartington Post 4 Seniors pounded out 15 hits in just three innings of baseball as well as taking advantage of five Randolph errors to roll past Randolph 22-0 here in recently scheduled game before the teams head into Area action next week.

HARTINGTON – The Hartington Navy Pony League team used a great pitching performance from Grady Haberer to sink Creighton 2-1 in a game played on June 29 in Hartington.

HARTINGTON – The Hartington American Legion Senior baseball team is set to host the Area 1 Tournament at Felber Park this month.

WYNOT – After defeating the Yankton Tappers just under two weeks ago, the Wynot Expos dropped a 14-5 South Central South Dakota League contest Thursday with the visitors from the north.

WAKEFIELD – The Hartington Post 4 Junior American Legion baseball team dropped the title game on July 1 in the Ralph Bishop League finals for its second loss of the entire summer in a well-played game fitting of a finals match-up at Eaton Field in Wakefield.

HARTINGTON – With an additional week to prepare for the Class D part of the 2023 USA Softball of Nebraska 18U State Tournament, the Hartington 18s softball team has done the best it can to prepare for its second straight trip to the most important tournament of the year.
