AINSWORTH –The Wynot Blue Devil boys basketball team earned a lopsided 74-34 District championship game win over Hay Springs here Monday.

HARTINGTON – The Cedar Catholic Trojans learned the hard way Thursday that you can never relax.

WYNOT – Wynot’s Lady Blue Devils will be making their 16th trip, dating back to 2004, to the Nebraska Girls Basketball Championships, opening the tournament as the No. 3 seed in Class D2 and taking on the No. 6 seed, Plainview at 7:45 p.m., Feb. 28, at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

HARTINGTON – If the statistics for the eight teams that advanced to this week’s Class D2 State Tournament can be believed, defense will determine the 2024 D2 state champion.

LINCOLN – Nebraska Public Media will provide live coverage of championship basketball games played at Pinnacle Bank Arena the next two Saturdays.
