The Cedar Catholic High School class of 1973 celebrated their 50th class reunion Sept. 9 at Felber Park. Classmates and guests spent the day laughing, reminiscing, and catching up. Most came from areas in Nebraska and South Dakota. Some traveled from as far away as Florida, Arizona, Colorado, and Missouri. HARTINGTON – Each spring, the Lewis and Clark Natural Resources District (LCNRD) distributes tree seedlings and provides planting services for windbreaks, shelterbelts, and wildlife habitat. Seedling orders are accepted now through March 31st. Planning assistance is available through local Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) offices for preparing tree planting plans that meet your conservation needs.

LCNRD shares fiscal year 2024 budget information

HARTINGTON – The Lewis and Clark Natural Resources District (LCNRD) Board of Directors approved the fiscal year 2024 budget with an increase in the overall expenses to $2,493,772. The property tax requirement for the three-county area is $0.027643 per $100 of actual valuation, a five percent increase from fiscal year 2023. The Board is committed to protecting and conserving natural resources through responsible use of tax dollars.
