Ricky L. “Rick” Eddie

RANDOLPH — Memorial services for Ricky L. “Rick” Eddie, 72, Randolph, will be 11 a.m., Aug. 9, at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel, Randolph.

PMA Dwight Brummels will be officiating the service.

Interment will be at the Randolph City Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until service time, Friday, at the Stonacek Funeral Chapel.

Rick died July 9, 2024, at his farm in rural Randolph. Stonacek Funeral Chapel, Randolph, is in charge of the arrangements.

Rick was born March 26, 1952 in Wayne, to Don E. and Doris Rose (Kruger) Eddie. He attended Randolph Public Schools, graduating from Randolph High School in 1970. Rick lived on a farm southwest of Belden until 1961. He then moved to his farm northwest of Randolph.

Rick loved farming and enjoyed working the land.

He is remembered for being independent, his good sense of humor, and his love for animals.

He enjoyed catching up and spending time with family, testing his luck at the slot machines, and being outdoors.

Rick was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Randolph. Rick is survived by his daughter, Callie (Jared) Treat, and their two children, Bailey and Riley, Kearney; siblings, Larry (Theresa) Eddie, McLean; Gina Eddie, Papillion; and Mike (Karen) Eddie, Stanton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Doris.
