A Celebration of Life will be 1-4 p.m., April 22, at Rivertime Bar & Grill, Ponca.

DakotaJo was born June 8, 1993, at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls, to JamieJo Casey and Connie Hirschman Casey. He grew up in Laurel and graduated from Council Bluffs, Iowa. He worked at Jack Links, before moving to Lennox, S.D., in 2019, where he worked at Wilson trailers until moving to Lake Andes, S.D., with his fiancé, Beth Yepsen.

Survivors include his mother, Connie, Lennox, S.D.; and a sister CierraJo Casey, Yuba, Calif.
