A private family service will be held for Kevin, with cremation to take place following the services. Kevin was born Aug. 16, 1958, in Yankton, S.D., to Anthony and Theresa (Heimes) Eickhoff. He grew up in Hartington and graduated from Hartington High School. After graduation, Kevin moved to Orange County, Calif., and worked for his brothers, Roger and Don, at Allied Sprinklers. He married Shelly Marie Moore May 12, 1990. They had three children, Kory, Erica and Sarah. In 2014, Kevin moved back to Hartington. He worked at Comfy Feet and then at Cedar Beef until he retired in 2023.

Kevin was known for his unwavering kindness and genuine desire to help others. Throughout his life, Kevin took great joy in serving and supporting those around him, whether through his work, volunteer efforts, or simply lending a listening ear to those in need. His compassion knew no bounds, and his legacy of helping others will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Kevin is survived by his three children, Kory (Samantha) Eickhoff, Murrieta, Calif.; Erica Eickhoff (Waylon Payer), Yankton, S.D.; and Sarah Eickhoff, San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren, Averie, Emerie, Briella, Kenzie, Livia and Kameron; seven siblings, B’zie Hartman, Bob Eickhoff, Chaz Manby, Don Eickhoff, Joyce Most, Joanie Phlanz and Keith Eickhoff; and many nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roger Eickhoff.
