Funeral services will be held privately. Betty was born Dec. 11, 1931 to Clark Blizzard in Sioux City Iowa. She married Clarence R. Schutt April 7, 1953, in Randolph. He preceded her in death.

Betty received her degree in nursing in 1952. She enjoyed her lifelong passion of hand quilting and won a plethora of ribbons at the Santa Clara County Fair. Her most prized was a best of show.

She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (husband, George Headley); son, Tom (wife, Suann); son, Rick (wife, Liz); and son, Mart (wife, Carol); 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
