Randy L. Graf
Randy Lee was born Feb. 20, 1952, in Laurel, to Darrell and Dolores (Ehlke) Graf. He grew up on a farm near Belden, went to school in Belden, graduating from Randolph in 1970. Randy farmed after graduation and married Shirley Winkelbauer Oct. 19, 1974, at St. Jane Frances Catholic Church, Randolph. Randy farmed, sold Standard Feed, managed Bicentennial Hog Coop, worked at Circle E, the Randolph Farm Supply, for various farmers in the Randolph area, and was the “Kerrie Stable Boy.”
Randy was one of the original founders of the Randolph Saddle Club. He enjoyed riding horses, tractor drives, camping, and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Shirley Graf, Randolph; children, Tina (Andy) Thelen, Tracy Backhaus, Troy (Danielle) Graf, all of Randolph; eight grandchildren, Shawn and Paige Thelen, Kylie and Ross Wurdinger, Rylee Thelen, Alexis Backhaus, Delayne Thelen, Ella Graf, Erika Graf and Cooper Backhaus; two great-grandchildren, Oliver and Oakleigh Thelen; mother, Dolores Carroll; siblings, Rich Graf and Rhonda (Dave) Whalen; step siblings, Dan Carroll, Doug (Shannon) Carroll, Dean Carroll, Dennis Carroll, Deb (Dennis) Allemann-Dannelly; in-laws, Barb (Gary) Frederick, Bob (Gloria) Winkelbauer, Rosie (Edwin) Backer, Roger (Sharolyn) Winkelbauer, Jerry (Joy) Winkelbauer, Jeff (Suzanne) Winkelbauer; and many nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Darrell; step father, Ed Carroll; and parents-in-law, Dave and Doris Winkelbauer.
