Awana Clubs resume in Concord

CONCORD — Concord AWANA Clubs will kick off the 2024-25 year with their annual Summer Fun Night, Sunday, Aug. 25, 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the Concord Village Park. A picnic supper will be provided as well as a Bounce House, Kiddie Train, Sno-cones, Kickball, Corn Hole and Motorcycle rides around the Park. Clubbers, families and area residents are invited to attend.

AWANA officially begins Wednesday, Aug. 28, with a Registration/ Get-Acquainted Night at the Evangelical Free Church in Concord. Registration will run from 6:45-8 p.m. for parents. Clubbers will participate in games (7 -7:30 p.m.) and small group time (7:30-8 p.m.) followed by ice cream bars.

Beginning Sept. 4, Awana Clubs will meet Wednesdays, 7 -8:15 p.m.
