The Cedar Catholic High School class of 1973 celebrated their 50th class reunion Sept. 9 at Felber Park. Classmates and guests spent the day laughing, reminiscing, and catching up. Most came from areas in Nebraska and South Dakota. Some traveled from as far away as Florida, Arizona, Colorado, and Missouri. HARTINGTON – Lucia Steffen, daughter of Robert and Laura Steffen, is the latest recipient of the “1000 Books Before Kindergarten” award. She received a medal, a certificate of completion, her final prize and a free book from the library for this accomplishment. Lucia is 4 years old and will attend Kindergarten at Holy Trinity Grade School the fall of 2025.

ATKINSON –After dropping a hard-fought 24-21 decision to Oakland-Craig on Sept. 22, the Cedar Catholic Trojans remained on the road here on Sept. 29 and added a win on the left side of the ledger with a resounding 51-21 win over the West Holt Huskies to improve to 4-2 on the football season.
