Opening ceremonies planned for State Tny

HARTINGTION — Opening cermemonies for the 2024 Class C State American Legion Junior baseball tournament will be held Saturday at Felber Park.
The program will be held prior to the start of the 4 p.m. game between Hartington and Tecumseh.
The program will include introductions, the Hartington Veterans Color Guard, and the reading of the American Legion Code of Sportsmanship.
The State Tournament begins at 10 a.m. when defending champion Malcolm takes on Ord.
Pender will then take on St. Paul in the 1 p.m. game.
The first day's action will finish out with Albion and Loomis facing each other at 7 p.m.
