Hartington hosts successful blood drive

HARTINGTON — LifeServe Blood Center held a blood drive in Hartington July 25 and had a GREAT turnout, with 24 donors registered and 26 units of Ufe saving blood collected. The units donated at the blood drive can help save up to 78 lives.
The following donor(s) also hit milestones with their most recent donation: Clinton Becker, five gallons; Jeff Wemhoff, eight gallons; and Janelle Gubbels, 11 gallons.
LeRoy Hansen and Hartington Trinity Lutheran Church helped to coordinatie and host the event.
The next blood drive for Hartington will be 12:30- 6 p.m., Aug. 15, at the Hartington VFW.
