BOW VALLEY — Claudette Stappert, 92, Bow Valley, died June 29, 2024, at Lakeside Hospital, Omaha. Mass of Christian Burial will be July 6, at 10:30 a.m., at Holy Family (Sts. Peter & Paul) Catholic Church, Bow Valley, Nebraka with the Rev. Jim Keiter officiating. Burial will be at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Bow Valley. Visitation will be Friday, at church, from 5-7 p.m., with a Vigil service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue Saturday, one hour prior to services. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wintz Funeral Home, Hartington. Claudette was born Oct. 1, 1932, to Claude and Theresa (Wieseler) Becker in Yankton, S.D., and was a member of the Holy Family (Sts. Peter and Paul) Catholic Church, Bow Valley. She married Charles Evan Stappert May 4, 1954, in St. Helena. Charles died on April 9, 2010, at the age of 79.

Claudette is survived by her children, Roxanne and Scott Stanard, Prosper, Texas; John and Janie Stappert, Norfolk; Michael and Linda Stappert, Gardner, Kan.; Carol Spetman, Scottsdale, Ariz.; Ron and Claudia Stappert, Palm Harbor, Fla.; Joseph and Lori Stappert, Omaha, and daughter-in-law, Robyn Stappert, Conroe, Texas; 20 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, three sisters, Loretta Albrecht, Yankton, S.D.; Marilyn and Loren Lund, Bassett; and Jeri Backman, Wynot.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stappert; son, Karl Stappert; her parents; and sisters, Luann Klein, Jean Hans and Joan Becker.
