A pair of local FCCLA students earn State awards

LINCOLN — Laurel-Concord-Coleridge students attended the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Convention April 6-8.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge School had two students competing in Star Events at the State Convention. Freshman, Madyson Campbell competed in Focus on Children and received a Silver medal for her project.

Senior Emma Sohler competed in Fashion Design and received Top Gold. That honor allows her to advance to FCCLA Nationals in Orlando Florida July 5-9. Sohler also modeled her dress in the State Fashion Show on Monday evening.
