YANKTON, S.D. — Laurel-Concord-Coleridge senior Gibson Roberts helped his Nebraska All Star team earn a 15-point win over theSouth Dakota All Stars here Sunday.
Roberts was one of five Nebraska athletes to hit for double digits in the contest. The Nebraska team was led by Battle Creek’s Jaxson Kilmury, who hit for 24 points.
Cedar Catholic’s Nolan Becker also had a hot hand, hitting for 19 points. He was followed by Summerland’s Michael Koeniz, who hit for 15 points. Kellyn Ollendick of Elkhorn Valley scored 14 points, while Roberts finished the game with 12 points.
The Cornhuskers used a balanced attack to gain the ‘w’ as all 10 squad members had at least seven points in the contest.
The S.D. All Stars were led by Britton Mulder’s 26-point effort. The Sioux Falls Christian senior helped lead his team to the Class A state title in March.
