Randolph celebrates New Year baby

RANDOLPH – Randolph’s first baby of 2025 has arrived - late in the year and also a week past his due date.

Kyle and Kelsey Eddy, Randolph, welcomed a son, Barrett Ernest, on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Faith Regional Health Services, Norfolk. He came into the world weighing 8 pounds, 12 ounces and measuring 20 1/2 inches.

He was one week past his due date and had turned into a breech position which required a C-section. Barrett’s older brother, 16-month-old Carter, is already busy helping to take care of his new sibling. “He’s at the stage where he wants to throw diapers away. You can give him one and he marches it right over to the trash can,” Kyle said. Grandparents are Kelly and Carol Eddy, Pierce; and Kevin and Conchita Malcolm, Allen.
