PLAINVIEW - The Greater Northeast Activities Conference recently announced its boys’ and girls’ All-Conference and All-Conference Honorable Mention lists for the first time in the conference’s history for basketball.
The Lady Wildcats had two players make First Team All Conference.
Seniors Maddy Steffen and McKenzie Breuning made the elite First Team. HNS freshman Vada Lippert earned a spot on the Honorable Mention squad.
No Wildcats made the All Conference First Team, but Brayden Lammers and Cole Heimes both earned spots on the All Conference Honorable Mention team.
The LCC Bears had one player listed on the All Conference squad and one on the honorable mention list.
The Lady Bears placed two on the first team and two on the honorable mention team.
Laurel-Concord-Coleridge’s Gibson Roberts made the GNAC All-Conference First Team, leading most players with his 19.2 points per game scoring average for the Bears.
