Donating blood is not only lifesaving for patients but can also benefit donors. Did you know that people who donate blood have an 88 percent lower risk of having a heart attack? Plus, at every donation, blood pressure, pulse, and hemoglobin levels are checked, helping donors stay informed about their own heart health.
