Bear Speech team has Sweet Day in Homer

HOMER — The LCC speech team took part in the Sweet Meet Feb 14.

The team took third place overall with a total of 134 points.

In Duet Acting Emma Sohler and Kolton Settje earned first place. Laney Folkers placed first in Oral Interpretation of Serious Prose.

Kolten Settje also earned fourth place in Oral Interpretation of Humorous Prose. Faith Galvin placed third in entertainment and third place in Extemporaneous Speaking. Kennedy Hall was third in Informative Speaking and second in Persuasive Speaking. Mavis Jonas, Ava Christenson, Stella Kock, and Tanya Miranda placed fourth with their OID.
