NORFOLK — Several area football players and one local official have been invited to take part in the annual Northeast Nebraska All Star Football game here.
The 12th annual events will take place on Friday June 13 at Norfolk’s Memorial Field.
In the past the game has been held on a Saturday afternoon but will be held Friday night under the lights this year.
Matt Sayler, Hartington was chosen to be the referee and the crew chief for the All Star game.
Cedar Catholic football players Jacob Steffen, Ryan Pick, Jaymison Cattau, and Braeden Reifenrath were all chosen to compete for the Red Team.
Cole Heimes, Cole Rosener, and Ayden Rosener will represent Hartington-Newcastle on the Red team.
Wynot’s Andrew Haberman was also selected for the Red Team squad.
