Club donates books

The Randolph Woman’s Club has once again demonstrated its commitment to literacy and community by donating a selection of new books to the Lied Randolph Public Library’s children’s collection. The funds for this contribution were raised through the club’s annual craft show.

A club committee selected 40 titles, ensuring a mix of award-winning books and those that align with this year’s Summer Reading Theme, Color Our World. These additions will provide young readers with fresh, engaging stories that spark imagination and learning, said Library Director Peggy Leiting.

The annual gift will enrich the collection and encourage a love of reading among local children, she said.

The new titles are: “Apple Crush;” “Big;” “Buffalo Fluffalo;” “Bunt;” “Cat on the Run;” “Construction Site;” “Dork Diaries;” “Dust;” “Escaping Peril;””Ferris;” “Firefly Summer;” “Give Me a Sign;” “Haunting of the Home Away;” “Katie the Cat;” “Knight Owl;” “Labors of Hercules;” “Mascot;” “Maybe Something Beautiful;” “Medusa;” “Nothing Else But Miracles;” “Oh Olive;” “Parachutes Kid;” “Penguins Egg;” “Probability of Everything;” “Promise Boys;” “Saints of the Household;” “Scarlet Alchem;” “Simon Sort of Says;” “Something Like Home;” “Space Between;” “That’s Not My Lion;” “That’s Not My Panda;” “That’s Not My Pony;” “Warrior Girl;” “Wild Poppies;” “Worm & Caterpillar;” and “10 Cats.”
