Yankton Toastmasters gather for January meeting

YANKTON, S.D. — Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Toastmasters met Jan. 16 at the United Way Community Impact Center.

The meeting was facilitated by Toastmaster, Ashley Dimmer with General Evaluator, Joyce Stevens. Word of the Day: Spuddle presentedby Joyce Stevens.

Cleo Waters presented a speech “Our Flag,” with members from the Air N ational Guard demonstrating the proper folding of the American F lag .Speaking awards were presented to Cleo Waters, Best Speaker; Sheila Ulrich, Best Evaluator; and Sargeant 1st Class Aaron Crisman, best Table Topics Speech.
