LAUREL — The LCC Spelling Bee was held on Monday, January 13 at the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge High School Commons for grades three through eighth.
The event allowed students to demonstrate their spelling skills, word knowledge, and hard work as they were asked to spell a variety of challenging words.

The fourth grade spelling contest winners were: Charli Beck, first place; Hadassah Kossler, second place; and Abel Lund, third place.

The seventh grade spelling contest winners were: Stella Graham, first; and Sophia Newton, second.

The overall winners in the LCC spelling contest were: Aizlynn Kossler, first place; Tenlie Christiansen, second place; and Charli Beck, third place.

The third grade spelling contest winners were: Naomi Badley, first place; Lena Brummels, second place; and Brooklyn Lawyer, third place.

The fifth grade spelling contest winners were: Hadley Nordby, first place; Myrtie McCorkindale, second place; and Rayne Conaway, third place.
