Five Cardinals recognized on all-district team

RANDOLPH - The D2-2 All-District Football team was released recently by the district coaches with three Randolph Cardinals tabbed to the first team.

District Champion Wynot had seven players on the list, runner-up Bancroft-Rosalie had six, Lyons-Decatur Northeast earned five spots, Winside four, the Cardinals three and Walthill had a couple of players on the list.

Randolph also had two players on the honorable mention list.

Gavin Wortman, Ryan Engel and Milo Rayford were named to the first team.

Teammates Ty Sievers and Joe Gonzalez were on the honorable mention list.

D2-2 ALL-DISTRICT FOOTBALL FIRST TEAM 

Wynot: Andrew Haberman; Alec Sudbeck; Ian Haberman; Parker Schmidt; Lane Heimes; Emersyn Guenther; Devin Brummer.

Bancroft-Rosalie: Braylon Wegner; Graysen Briggs; Ayden Dolezal; Nick Buchholz; Lucas Engel; Braxton Bonneau.

Lyons-Decatur Northeast: Gavin Hardeman; Landen Cooper; Talan Mock; Garret Vavra; Kaden Knaak.

Winside: Korben Carlson; Aden Sellin; Dane Behmer; Mace McGwire.

Randolph: Gavin Wortman; Ryan Engel; Milo Rayford.

Walthill: Sage Grant; Katen Robinson.
