Hartington-Newcastle duo earns awards at GNAC event

TILDEN — The Hartington-Newcastle cast and crew took home thirdplace honors in the first-ever Greater Northeast Activities Conference One Act Play meet.

Lutheran High Northeast’s production of “To ICK, with Love,” earned top honors, while Plainview was second with “The Merry Unmerry Adventures of Robinhood.”

Hartington-Newcastle had two of the four performers singled out as the top actors at the meet. Cole Heimes and Lainey Morten were named All Around Performers. Kolten Settje of Laurel-Concord-Coleridge and Neligh-Oakdale’s Graysen Sauser also picked up All Around Performer honors.

HNS also had several actors earn certificates for their outstanding performances. They are: Issac Santiago, Ryell Haug, Carter Kelly, Austin Sudbeck, Trevon Hopping, Dan Gotch and Alyk Zach.
