Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week

‘Friends Don’t Let Friends Do Drugs’ was the theme of a twin dress up day as part of Red Ribbon Week at Randolph Elementary last week. Elementary staff decided to twin with custodian Tracy Backhaus. Those pictured above are (back row) Keri Severson, Megan Shearer, Stephanie Harder, Paige Hegge, Ashley Schmidt, (front row) Joan Albers, Theresa Schnoor, Tracy Backhaus, Tiffany Guenther, Jackie Loberg and Kelsey Gubbels. At right, fifth-graders Conner Mavis and Brexton Lewon dress up like real-life “Belden twins” Richard and Robert Vogt. As part of Red Ribbon Week, Scott Rutten of the Nebraska State Patrol also visited and spoke to students about the importance of not sharing prescription drugs. Jackie Loberg|Randolph Times
