LCC runners earn postseason honors

LAUREL — Five Laurel-Concord-Coleridge cross country runners were named to the Greater Northeast Activities Conference All Conference First Team this week.

Two Lady Bears — Faith Galvin and Kate Tasler — were named to the All-GNAC First Team along with three Bears — Preston Rose, Carter Korth, and Shane Langford.

Abbie Brummels and Addy Hoeppner were named to the All Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Rose made the honor team because of his impressive secondplace finish at the innaugural GNAC Conference race. at the Plainview Country Club west of Plainview.

Korth finished sixth at the conference meet to earn his spot, while Langford crossed the finish line in 10th.

Galvin finished sixth in the girls division, while Tasler followed her across the line for seventh.

Boys All-Conference Drew Martin (West Holt); Preston Rose (Laurel-Concord- Coleridge); Adam Elks (Hartington-Newcastle); Alex Elks (Hartington-Newcastle); Isaac Hernandez-Santiago (Hartington-Newcastle); Carter Korth (Laurel-Concord-Coleridge); David Rodriguez (Lutheran High Northeast); Carter Schieffer (Lutherna High Northeast); Evan Decker (Elkhorn Valley); Shane Langford (Laurel-Concord-Coleridge).
