HARTINGTON — The recent Hartington Community blood drive was a huge success. There were 25 donors registered and 31 units of blood collected, which will directly benefit up to 93 patients who rely on life-saving transfusions. Since each unit can save up to three lives, this makes a tremendous difference for those undergoing treatment.
Two donors hit significant milestones with their recent donations—your commitment is truly life-changing, Susan Dickes, 10 gallons, and Gary Burns, 21 gallons Duane and Elaine Arens helped to coordinate this drive that was hosted by the Hartington VFW.
