Library helps spice it up

RANDOLPH – The Lied Randolph Public Library is looking to spice things up a bit with a new club.

New flavors and culinary adventure is in store at the library’s spice club which meets the first Tuesday of each month from 5 to 6 p.m.. The next meeting is set for Tuesday, Nov. 5.

Those joining can sample a delicious recipe with the month’s featured spice, get a sample of the featured spice, and a new recipe to try it out. Preregistration is required to ensure there are enough samples.

The club started in October by featuring smoked paprika. Club members sampled a sheet pan recipe of chicken and potatoes, perfectly seasoned with paprika. A small sample of coriander was also supplied with a pork chop recipe.

For more information or to register, contact the library at 402-337-0046 or message through the Facebook page.
