Local FBLA members take part in leadership event
LCC FBLA members Kolten Settje, Clara Brummels, Kate Tasler, Holly Patefield, and Tyler Recob recently took part in a leadership conference in Fremont.

FREMONT — The LCC Future Business Leaders of America officers participated Sept. 25 in the fall leadership conference in Fremont.

The officers had the opportunity to listen to motivational speaker, Laymon Hicks. They attended officer meetings where they learned how to better use their leadership skills in FBLA.

The FBLA participants were able to attend a Wayne State College business competition. They took tests ranging from personal finance, accounting, and business communication. Great efforts were made by all the FBLA participants.

Future Business Leaders of America, Inc. (FBLA) is the largest business Career and Technical Student Organization in the world. Each year, FBLA helps over 230,000 members prepare for careers in business.
