Cedar, O-C have a strong history together

HARTINGTON — While Cedar Catholic and Oakland-Craig don’t exactly have a long history together, the two squads always seem to put on historic showings when they do get together.

Friday night’s contest in Oakland should be another classic. It features a pair of top-ranked C2 teams. Cedar comes into the contest ranked third and fourth in the two major statewide polls, while the Knights enter the game with third and sixth place rankings.

The Knights have won the last two times the teams faced each other. The last time the Trojans tasted victory against Oakland-Craig was in 2021, when they earned a lopsided 27-0 win.
