HNS JV team earns big win over Wynot

HARTINGTON — On Monday, October 7th, the Hartington-Newcastle JV football team delivered a commanding 36-14 victory over the Wynot Blue Devils.

The offense operated smoothly, consistently moving the ball up and down the field.

The combination of Austin Sudbeck and Jason Heimes in the backfield proved nearly impossible to stop, as they powered the offense with strong runs throughout the game.

On defense, the defensive line played solidly inside, and after some adjustments were made to counter the sprint option, the opposing team struggled to move the ball.

“It was a well-rounded performance, with both the offense and defense playing their roles to perfection,” said coach Dylan Behnk.
