An ag safety day was held Thursday at the Cedar County Fairgrounds for area FFA students. Five stations were set up to allow students to learn about grain bin safety, electrical safety, fire safety, ATV safety, Equipment and harvest safety. Students from Hartington- Newcastle, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge, Wynot, Randolph, Ponca, Wausa and Bloomfield attended the event. CVA put on the grain bin demonstration, while Grossenberg Implement gave the equipment and harvest safety demonstration and Cedar-Knox Public Power provided information on electrical safety.
